About The Position

At Inwood Animal Clinic, we specialize in quality veterinary care for pets of all ages. We are available to address any potential issues, so our patients will enjoy a lifetime of great health. Our goal is to deliver top-quality care for every animal that walks through our doors. We've been serving New York City since 2008. We're conveniently located on Broadway between Academy Street and 204th Street.

Requirements

• Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
• Fluent in Spanish and English - required
• Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
• Highly organized and possess computer skills
• Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset

Responsibilities

• Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
• Greet and welcome clients and patients
• Answer questions and triage client concerns
• Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
• Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
• Check in and check out clients and process payments
• Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need
