Animal Hospital of Lewisville is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our fast-paced, team-oriented hospital. This is not an entry-level opportunity . We are looking for a professional who can confidently manage client interactions, support hospital flow, and deliver a high level of service in a busy veterinary or medical environment. If you have prior experience in veterinary medicine, specialty/ER, or human healthcare front desk operations , and thrive in a role that requires multitasking, communication, and attention to detail , we encourage you to apply. Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist, Veterinary CSR, or medical front desk professional
  • Proven ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on client service and professionalism
  • Experience with appointment scheduling, phone systems, and payment processing
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in busy or high-stress situations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in veterinary general practice, specialty, or ER settings
  • Familiarity with veterinary software (e.g., Avimark, Cornerstone, ezyVet, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of basic veterinary terminology and workflows

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients in person and over the phone
  • Deliver professional, efficient, and empathetic customer service
  • Guide clients through appointments, wait times, and treatment processes
  • Handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and care
  • Schedule appointments and manage a high-volume phone system
  • Verify patient records, vaccination status, and medical history
  • Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately
  • Maintain organized and detailed electronic medical records
  • Communicate effectively with veterinarians and technical staff
  • Support patient flow for both scheduled and urgent appointments
  • Assist with prescription and product fulfillment as directed
  • Help maintain an efficient and organized front desk environment
