About The Position

Rosedale Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician/Client Care Specialist (hybrid position) to join our team. We are a growing, full-service hospital serving our community in North-Central Austin and surrounding areas. At Rosedale Veterinary Clinic, our emphasis is on quality and compassionate care. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of one year of experience, who possesses a desire and motivation to grow, learn and be part of a collaborative veterinary care team. Our veterinary technician/client care specialists play an integral role in providing exceptional care. We are willing to invest in and train the right candidate who is a fit for our team. Our goal is to take the best care of those walking through the doors as well as those who work behind them. Responsibilities

Schedule appointments properly
Taking various forms of payment
Medical records management
Humane & compassionate animal restraint
Venipuncture & sample collection
IV catheter placement & management
Radiography: positioning, technique & restraint
Wellness & preventative care: vaccines, testing, and parasite preventatives
Pharmacy: general medication knowledge, handling & dispensing
