We are seeking a Weekend Veterinary Receptionist (Client Service Representative) to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for clients, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for pet owners and their beloved companions during weekend shifts.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in a related field is a plus.
  • Must be available for weekend and some holiday coverage.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience in a veterinary or medical reception/client service role.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional customer service during check-ins and check-outs.
  • Handle incoming calls, appointment scheduling, and client inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Communicate updates on patient status and treatment plans to clients.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area.
  • Assist in managing patient records and ensuring client information is accurate and confidential.
  • Support veterinary staff in coordinating emergency and specialty care communications.
