We are seeking a Weekend Veterinary Receptionist (Client Service Representative) to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for clients, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for pet owners and their beloved companions during weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in a related field is a plus.
- Must be available for weekend and some holiday coverage.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience in a veterinary or medical reception/client service role.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional customer service during check-ins and check-outs.
- Handle incoming calls, appointment scheduling, and client inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Communicate updates on patient status and treatment plans to clients.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area.
- Assist in managing patient records and ensuring client information is accurate and confidential.
- Support veterinary staff in coordinating emergency and specialty care communications.
