The position involves providing timely and professional communications with caregivers and coworkers, greeting caregivers in a friendly and timely manner, receiving incoming calls, providing available information, and routing as needed. You will ensure caregiver information is recorded accurately and consistently, assist, coordinate and/or perform surgical appointment scheduling between caregivers and medical staff, and provide immediate support to all medical staff. Additionally, you will triage & assist incoming patients based on urgency of care and available resources, interpret electronic medical records to coordinate frequency of care and clerical data, and perform clerical duties including filing, copying, faxing, scanning, linking, emailing, and mailing. You will also be a resource for inventory control to aid in loss prevention, ensure the lobby remains clean throughout your shift, engage in PAW's Collaborative Process in accordance with current operational guidelines, attend individual Collaborative Meetings with members of the Collaborative Team, track progress through Core Training, and provide feedback on guidelines, processes, and policies with the intent to improve efficiency and effectiveness. You must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises and may be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.
