About The Position
Veterinary Radiologist Evolution Veterinary Specialists is seeking a board-certified Radiologist to join our rapidly growing specialty and emergency practice. Our practice has an excellent team of full-time 24/7/365 Emergency doctors, as well as Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, Surgery, Critical Care specialists. Evolution Veterinary Specialists is a privately owned veterinary hospital, founded with dedication to patient care and providing all team members with opportunities for growth and job fulfillment. Unlike most corporate owned hospitals, you will work daily with the hospital owners and management who are committed to the hospital as well as your professional success. As the first staff Radiologist, you will be able to build your own service. Many diagnostic modalities are available to help support inpatient and outpatient evaluation in support of the specialty services and build an outpatient ultrasound service to fill a need for regional general practices. This includes digital radiography (My Vet I-72 and Innovet machines), computed tomography (Toshiba Aquilion 64 slice), C arm with fluoroscopy capability (GE OEC 9800+), GE (Logiq E, Vivid IQ, Hand-held VScan) and Phillips ultrasound units. A 10,000 square foot expansion completed in 2023 added a dedicated 2,500 square foot ICU with Snyder oxygen and hi-flow oxygen therapy, 4 surgery suites, endoscopy special procedures suite, specialty procedures and imaging center, dedicated cath lab, and oncology suite. Our state-of-the-art facility also features an on-site blood bank, in-house Holter monitoring (Trillium), dentistry, laparoscopy, and interventional fluoroscopy. We are also thrilled to be able to offer our own in-house Compounding Pharmacy, Echo Rx. Our mission is to continuously evolve to meet the needs of our patients and staff while promoting a culture of teamwork, elevated medicine with CE opportunities for all staff, regular hospital staff meetings and team-building events. EVS is located less than 10 min. outside of Denver with quick access to the foothills and mountains of CO.
