About The Position

As a Veterinary Practice Manager, you will oversee all aspects of office administration to ensure efficient operation of the practice. Key responsibilities include: Manage office operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and staff coordination Recruit, hire, train, and supervise office staff, including performance management and conflict resolution Ensure excellent customer service by addressing pet owners' inquiries and resolving complaints promptly Implement and maintain hospital policies, including DEA/Controlled Substances and OSHA regulations Oversee financial aspects such as inventory management, vendor relationships, and timely payroll processing Coordinate with veterinary staff on patient care procedures and emergency cases Market the hospital to prospective customers and the veterinary community Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper use of veterinary terminology Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Perform other duties as assigned to support the hospital's overall operations and growth

Requirements

  • Experienced or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with a minimum of 1-year management experience preferred or 3+ years veterinary experience preferred
  • knowledgeable in veterinary medicine terminology and how to run a veterinary hospital
  • Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
  • Highly organized and possess computer skills
  • Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
  • Open availability with flexibility to change hours based on hospital’s needs

Responsibilities
