About The Position

South Asheville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (SAVES) is looking for an ophthalmologist to join our growing team in North Carolina. Our state-of-the-art hospital is located minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and offers a vibrant community with numerous outdoor activities and dining options. We have recently expanded our facility to 28,369 sq. ft. to accommodate an increased caseload, supported by a loyal referral community. The ideal candidate will work alongside a team of emergency doctors and specialists in various fields, including critical care, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, and surgery. Requirements

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in veterinary ophthalmology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
