About The Position

Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) is looking for an ophthalmologist to join our team! If you are ready to fall back in love with your career in veterinary medicine this is the job for you! We are excited to announce that we will be opening a second location in West Springfield, MA. Our new, 12,000 square-foot hospital will feature brand new laparoscopic equipment, two surgery suites, advanced imaging (CT/Fluoroscopy/X-ray), ultrasound, full blood bank, ventilator, and much more! Our specialties will include Emergency and Urgent Care, Surgery, Neurology, and Internal Medicine.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Board certification or eligibility in veterinary ophthalmology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a specialty or emergency veterinary practice.
• Interest in teaching or mentoring other veterinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized veterinary ophthalmology services.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated technician team.
• Develop and manage your own appointment and procedure schedule.
• Select your own equipment for procedures.
