About The Position
Ultimate Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time experienced Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about patient care and people, and enjoys coordinating a successful team. The clinic is a gold standard, purpose-built facility in Narre Warren, providing comprehensive veterinary care to a large community. The role involves working closely with other clinical leaders to manage the daily operations of the surgery team and to train and mentor junior nurses. The position offers an attractive salary and other remuneration benefits based on qualifications, along with career and development opportunities within the VetPartners group, including in-house and external training, an annual continuing education allowance, and regular one-on-one feedback with the clinic manager. Requirements
- A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a veterinary nurse
- A desire to provide and uphold a high standard of patient and client care
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Exceptional customer service
- Prioritising patient care and animal welfare
- Providing gold standard nursing to patients in our car
- Assisting our vets in consulting and surgery
- Providing nurse consultations to our clients
- Reception and administration duties
- Oversee the day to day running of our surgery team
- Provide training and mentoring to our junior nurses
