About The Position
The clinic Veterinarian will perform wellness appointments on privately-owned animals, advising owners on proper immunizations and disease prevention. Responsibilities include examining animals, treating diseases and injuries, conducting surgeries, and performing administrative duties such as maintaining legal medical health records. The Veterinarian will also collect body tissue, feces, blood, urine, and other body fluids for examination and diagnostic testing, interpret laboratory findings, and issue health certificates. Additionally, the Veterinarian will provide direction and oversight to Animal Health Assistants regarding veterinary nursing skills, veterinary medical standards, and animal care.
