About The Position

This job posting is for our Veterinary Clinic Department . We are seeking a part-time Kennel Technician with the opportunity to grow into a Customer Service Representative (CSR) role after approximately three months, based on performance and fit. Position Overview This is a hybrid role that combines kennel support with front desk responsibilities. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, strong communication skills and eager to learn both the clinical and customer service sides of veterinary care.

Requirements

• Veterinary clinic experience and knowledge of veterinary products preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
• Computer literate
• Available to work Saturdays
• Available to work until 8:30 PM occasionally
• Comfortable working with cats and dogs
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems effectively
• Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with a diverse client base
• Reliable and punctual

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kennels to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
• Perform laundry duties
• Prepare and organize surgical packs (pack room duties)
• Assist with closing procedures
• Support overall clinic cleanliness and workflow
• Always operate with urgency and care, representing our organization with professionalism and compassion
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist clients with questions and needs
• Schedule appointments and manage a busy clinic calendar
• Collect payments for services and products
• Act as an advocate for animals and provide excellent client support
