About The Position

Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists (CCVS) is excited to announce the expansion of our Veterinary Dermatology department in our Buzzards Bay location, coming in 2027. We are currently seeking a board-certified Veterinary Dermatologist or residency-trained veterinarian to join our growing team and help us continue building our high-quality dermatology service within our well-established emergency and referral hospitals. CCVS is a busy, multi-specialty referral and emergency hospital serving pets throughout Cape Cod and southeastern Massachusetts. With locations in Buzzards Bay and Dennis, our team includes specialists in emergency & critical care, internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, exotics, anesthesiology, and diagnostic imaging. With our expansion, we're building to include dentistry, ophthalmology, and neurology. Requirements

• Diplomate of the ACVD or dermatology residency-completed veterinarian eligible for board certification by 2027.
• A motivated, team-oriented individual with a strong commitment to patient care and client communication.
• An interest in mentoring and the professional development of others.
• Passion for growing the service in a supportive, forward-thinking hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with a talented dermatology team that includes our boarded DACVD and knowledgeable veterinary technicians.
• Provide expert diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of dermatology conditions.
• Collaborate with other specialists and emergency clinicians in a team-based care model.
• Support the education of interns, residents, and veterinary staff.
• Contribute to a culture of compassionate, high-quality care.
