Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialist (BEVS), in Williston, VT, is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Dentist to lead and grow our dentistry and oral surgery service. Requirements

Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
Board-certified (Diplomate of the AVDC) or residency-trained in Veterinary Dentistry
Eligibility to obtain a State of Vermont Veterinary Licensure
Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills
Commitment to teamwork, client service, and continued learning
Experience working in a specialty or referral hospital is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat a wide range of oral and maxillofacial diseases, trauma, and dental conditions in companion animals
Perform advanced dental procedures, including root canals, periodontal surgery, extractions, jaw fracture repair, and oral mass removals
Interpret diagnostic imaging, including dental radiographs and cone beam CT scans
Collaborate with specialty and emergency departments to provide integrated, comprehensive care
Educate clients and referring veterinarians on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventative dental care
Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to a culture of safety, excellence, and compassion
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
