Veterinary Criticalist

National Veterinary AssociatesHillsborough, NJ

About The Position

Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Hillsborough, NJ is looking to add a second and third Criticalist to our growing, compassionate team of veterinary professionals. We moved into our state-of-the-art facility in 2020 and are supported by specialists in Emergency & Critical Care, Cardiology, and Surgery. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Criticalist who is passionate about training, loves managing in-patients, and doesn't mind taking critical cases directly from ER. You will always have support from our ER doctors and not have primary ER responsibility unless that is important to you. Love surgery? That's awesome. Rather not? That's OK too. We are committed to our specialists' professional goals and aspirations; let us know what is important to you! Our team utilizes a highly functional layout with a doctor command center that is ideal for patient care. We have a 16-slice CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, telemetry, two advanced surgery suites, 7 exam rooms and 2 Triage rooms. We are actively recruiting for internal medicine and a medical oncologist, and are excited to be planning a neurology/neurosurgery suite as we build out our specialty services. We value a positive, healthy, and collaborative work environment focused on providing the best medicine to our pet patients and our entire team. We strive to provide a schedule conducive to maintaining a healthy work/life balance for all our employees and recognize its importance in our community.
