The "right fit" for this position is someone who delivers exceptional customer service, has a high attention to detail mindset, and is skilled as a veterinary technician. We are looking to have someone help both our front desk and someone to fill in as a technician to help doctors with alternating shifts. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments, providing excellent customer service, and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients. As a CSR, you will be the first point of contact with our clients! The right individual for this role will exude confidence and knowledge within the veterinary field.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a veterinary hospital in either role with verifiable skills and knowledge.
  • Must know how to operate multi-line phone systems.
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to changes within the hospital.
  • No scheduling restrictions, must have open availability to be considered.
  • Must have excellent phone and grammar etiquette when communicating with clients.
  • Must be proficient with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
  • Must be friendly and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
  • Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to every client and their pet, every time.
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
  • Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts via phones and electronic communication methods.
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
  • Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
