About The Position

VCA Delaware Valley Animal Hospital is seeking a part time Client Service Representative to join our team. Experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred, but not necessary. Willing to train the right individual, but the qualified candidate should be able to handle busy phones, and at times, a somewhat fast paced environment. This is a part time position, approximately 20 hrs a week. The schedule will require a combination of days, evenings and Saturdays. The successful candidate will enjoy people, be very dedicated to delivering great customer service, be a team player, and must be extremely reliable. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
  • Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
  • Managing electronic medical records, reports, and correspondence.
  • Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times-both inside and outside.
