About The Position

Are you ready to call North Carolina home? South Asheville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (SAVES) in Asheville, is GROWING and looking for a Cardiologist! Come and breathe in the fresh mountain air while working in our state-of-the-art hospital. SAVES expanded to 28,369 sq. ft and we are looking for a Cardiologist to start up the service in our new space! Since this is a new position, we will purchase all the "toys" necessary for the cardiologist to practice the highest quality of medicine and we welcome specialists that are interested in interventional radiology! The new hospital will feature intra-operative fluoroscopy and IR capabilities. The right candidate will join a well-rounded team comprised of emergency doctors and specialists in critical care, internal medicine, neurology & neurosurgery, oncology, and surgery. Requirements

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Board certification in cardiology or eligibility for board certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a sense of humor.
• Desire to be a contributing member of a team.
