About The Position

Veterinary Care and Specialty Group (VCSG) is seeking a full-time cardiologist to join our dynamic and growing team. As we continue expanding toward becoming the premier small-animal specialty hospital in the Southeast, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a service with an existing caseload and strong referral support while helping shape its future. You’ll step into a cardiology service with an existing caseload generated by a visiting cardiologist, along with ongoing support from a network cardiologist who provides direct support at VCSG. This provides immediate clinical activity while offering the opportunity to further grow and define the service. Our mission is to provide compassionate, advanced referral and emergency veterinary care. Work in a cutting-edge environment with advanced diagnostics and treatment capabilities including ultrasound, digital radiology, and advanced laboratory resources. Our hospital also features a Tesla MRI, 128-slice CT scanner, C-arm, ventilator support, and an onsite blood bank to support the highest level of patient care. Our Cancer Center further enhances our multidisciplinary capabilities, housing both medical and radiation oncology services and advanced treatment technology. Work alongside a highly collaborative, team-oriented group of over 100 professionals who genuinely enjoy working together. Our environment emphasizes mutual respect, shared knowledge, and delivering the best possible outcomes for patients. We offer a rotating internship program and a surgery residency, and we are deeply committed to mentorship, continuing education, and professional growth opportunities for all team members. Located in Chattanooga, TN—known as the “Scenic City”—you’ll enjoy a unique blend of outdoor adventure and vibrant city life, with easy access to hiking, water activities, arts, dining, and entertainment. Joining VCSG means becoming part of EVG Specialty Network, giving you access to a broad community of specialists, continuing education, collaboration opportunities, and shared expertise dedicated to advancing veterinary medicine. Join us in our mission to provide exceptional care for our patients while working in a collaborative, innovative, and supportive environment. If you’re ready to grow your career and make a lasting impact, we would love to hear from you!
