Requirements

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Flexible schedule including some weekend and holiday shifts.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and animal handling.

• Ability to manage stressful situations and work respectfully in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist DVMs and credentialed veterinary technicians with appointments and procedures.
• Restrain animals safely and efficiently.
• Obtain accurate vitals and medical histories from patients.
• Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing.
• Care for and maintain medical equipment essential to daily operations.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient updates.
