About The Position
Berglund Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Evanston, Illinois. Our hospital is AAHA Certified and has been providing exceptional preventative, medical, and surgical care for dogs and cats since 1956. We recently relocated to a newly built, state-of-the-art facility featuring five exam rooms, conveniently located near the CTA Purple line and Metra. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients. This full-time position requires an energetic and responsible individual who possesses outstanding communication skills and a genuine love for animals. While preference will be given to candidates with prior veterinary assistant experience, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate. The role involves working on your feet for extended periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and being available for Saturday morning shifts.
