About The Position

VCA North Portland Veterinary Hospital located in Portland, OR is looking for an Veterinary Assistant to join our Patient Care Team ! Schedule: Full-time opportunity. 4/10’s Compensation: Starting at $20-22 / hour. Pay is dependent on experience and licensure. Requirements

  • 6+ months of experience in a veterinary hospital or a current Veterinary Technician student
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients and their owners.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Familiarity with AAHA standards and a commitment to upholding them.
