About The Position

Veterinary United (VU) is coming soon to Jensen Beach, and we’re looking for a skilled, detail-driven Veterinary Technician who thrives in a modern, collaborative medical environment. While surgery is an important part of this role, it is not the sole focus. We’re seeking a well-rounded technician who enjoys being involved in all aspects of patient care — from appointments and diagnostics to anesthesia and surgical support. Requirements

Experience as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT preferred but not required based on state regulations)
Comfort supporting surgery and anesthesia while also thriving in general practice duties
Strong technical skills and attention to detail
A calm, confident presence in fast-paced situations
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Commitment to high-quality patient care and ongoing professional growth

Responsibilities

Support appointments, diagnostics, and treatment plans
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, and patient monitoring
Provide clear, compassionate client communication
Prepare patients for surgery and support soft tissue and orthopedic procedures
Monitor anesthesia and recovery
Maintain sterile technique and assist with surgical setup and instrument care
Work closely with doctors and fellow technicians to ensure smooth workflows
Participate in patient rounds and case discussions
Contribute to a culture of efficiency, communication, and continuous improvement
