We’re currently seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team and help us deliver outstanding veterinary care every day. Job Summary: As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinary team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the hospital. You’ll assist with patient care, handle administrative and cleaning duties, and help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for pets and their owners.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred
• Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for animals and a commitment to their care

• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures
• Safely restrain animals for exams and treatments
• Perform basic patient care including feeding, walking, and monitoring recovery
• Clean and sterilize exam rooms, equipment, and kennels
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with data entry
• Support front desk operations including check-in, check-out, and scheduling
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
• Maintain inventory and restock supplies
