Requirements

Have at least 1 to 2 years of hands-on veterinary assistant experience in a clinical setting.
Truly love animals and treat them with patience and compassion.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Are reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Communicate clearly with both clients and coworkers.
Can stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

Maintaining accurate medical records and assisting with client communication.
Preparing patients for exams and surgical procedures.
Administering medications as directed.
Assisting with in-house lab testing (blood, fecal, urine, etc.).
Cleaning and sanitizing exam rooms, kennels, and surgical instruments.
Monitoring post-operative patients and reporting changes promptly.
Safely restraining patients during exams and treatments.
Educating pet parents on medications, treatments, and aftercare.
Working closely with our Credentialed Technicians and DVMs to deliver top-tier care.
