About The Position
Richmond Veterinary Clinic is Hiring a Veterinary Assistant! Position Details Role: Veterinary Assistant Status: Full or part-time hours available Salary: Negotiable and based on experience Schedule: 4-6 hours a day/less than 30 hours a week for part-time. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day. No nights, weekends, or holiday hours! Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Safely restrain animals and provide compassionate patient care
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms, kennels, and equipment
- Feed, walk, and monitor hospitalized or boarding pets
- Prepare supplies, set up treatment areas, and help with basic lab tasks
- Support client communication, patient check-ins, and recordkeeping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment
