They will feel confident rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with proper animal handling, understand x-ray and positioning, have knowledge of laboratory equipment, capitalize on client education, and know the importance of being a supportive team player. This thriving practice is looking for an experienced, hands-on Experienced Veterinary Assistant to assist in training and growth. Requirements

  • 1+ years as a Veterinary Assistant in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of veterinary industry tools and equipment
  • Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
  • Understand the importance of client education
  • Compassion for our clients and their pets
  • Able to multi-task efficiently
  • Positive and supportive team player willing to continue to learn
