About The Position

We are a five-doctor veterinary practice located in the Upper Westside/Smyrna/Buckhead corner of Atlanta, off of Moores Mill Road. We are looking to add a full-time Experienced Technician Assistant to our team. Established in 1992, Treehouse Animal Clinic aims to provide owners with sound, honest choices for their pets and to provide our patients with excellent and compassionate medical care. We strive to give our customers the best personalized service possible and to create a friendly, professional work environment for our awesome staff. The ideal candidate must have previous veterinary experience, reliable transportation, be timely/early to shifts, be able to work Saturdays (8:45am - 1pm), have excellent client communication skills, have a positive attitude and outlook, possesses great team skills and have compassion and a love for animals. This candidate should be comfortable running rooms, taking history, collecting samples, administer medications as prescribed by the veterinarian, understand how to run in-house lab tests, and assist any other procedures needed throughout the day. Qualifications Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant. Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
