About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a detail-oriented, multitasking, team-focused Veterinary Assistant for our busy Internal Medicine department. Are you driven, dependable, committed, and knowledgeable? Do you demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills in a team atmosphere? Do you want to be in a dynamic and rewarding setting? Assistants in this service will assist their team in all medical and endoscopic procedures associated with maintaining and stabilizing their patients.

Responsibilities

Calmly and gently approach and handle our patients according to safety protocols and our core values
Understand our hospital estimates and can clearly present and explain them to our clients
Have patience and empathy to address client concerns
Educate clients in the areas of Internal Medicine and can provide exceptional care for our patients
Prepare medications and our patients/clients for discharge with concise directions for our clients
Support your Internal Medicine team in all aspects of care for your patients
