Requirements

• 2–3 years of Veterinary Assistant experience required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medical accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients compassionately and professionally
• A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and supports colleagues
• Able to multitask effectively while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of emergency veterinary experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Triage and assist with emergency cases as they present
• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care
• Assist with treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, and surgical procedures
• Perform blood draws, place IV catheters, and run in-house laboratory tests
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Support a small animal caseload with seasonal fluctuations in workload
• Assist with front-of-house and administrative duties as needed, including scheduling, client check-in/out, and answering phones
