We are searching for a candidate with strong client education and patient care skills who thrives in a fast-paced team environment. The primary responsibility of the Veterinary Assistant is to advocate for our patients and work together with our clients to help them take excellent care of their pets. The ideal candidate is skilled in relationship building and demonstrates empathy when communicating in person and over the phone. Responsibilities include client education, animal handling, patient treatment, medical record management, lab sampling and processing, prescription filling and invoicing. As a representative of our hospital, a veterinary assistant must prioritize courtesy, compassion, and a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, patients, and coworkers. Previous animal handling and customer service experience is required. Experience with Idexx Cornerstone is a plus. Why work at Brandermill Animal Hospital? Requirements

Previous animal handling experience is required
