About The Position

Kelley Animal Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Assistant! Veterinary Assistants are a critical part of our pet healthcare team. Do you love animals and want to help the people who love them? Are you an aspiring veterinary technician who would like to get some experience as a veterinary assistant? Maybe you have your animal science or biology degree and want some in-clinic experience before applying to veterinary school? Then we would love to talk to you! Kelley Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant for our multi-doctor practice in the northern-suburbs, located between Shoreview and Blaine. Applicants preferably should have at least 1 year of experience working in an animal setting or a corresponding secondary degree. We offer a fun work environment with a fundamental belief that we work to live, not live to work.

Is comfortable with computers and technology, and can learn multiple computer programs
Works well with others and can take direction well

Nice To Haves

Ideally has 1+ years of veterinary clinic experience
Has good listening and critical thinking skills
Has the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
Ideally is familiar with veterinary clinic software such as Avimark
Is comfortable in a fast-paced environment
