Requirements

An experienced Veterinary Assistant confident in preforming SQ injections, blood draws and radiographs.
Able to work Sunday - Tuesday + Thursday
Reliable, honest, communicative, and ready to pitch in wherever needed
A team player who takes initiative and works well in a playful, supportive environment
Willing to grow with the team and be a part of a community that values light-heartedness and professionalism alike

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support for veterinary care including:Restraint, preparing vaccines, filling medications, assisting in exams and with x-rays
Drawing blood, processing in-house labs, surgical prep, and nail trims
Assisting with client communication and entering charges accurately
Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient care throughout the facility
Mentor less-experienced team members when needed
Participate in team meetings, CE opportunities, and collaborative learning
Contribute to a positive work culture through dependability, flexibility, and humor
