About The Position

Veterinary Assistant Liberty Pet Hospita l is currently looking for a Veterinary Assistant . We are seeking a candidate that is customer-oriented, enthusiastic, energetic, and can multitask. The ideal candidate will feel confident working with the veterinarians and technicians, rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgery recovery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, using laboratory equipment, has experience with x-ray and proper positioning, understand the importance of client education, and is willing to be a positive team player. Requirements

  • 1+ years of veterinary hands-on experience
  • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
  • Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
  • Understands the importance of client education
  • Compassionate towards our patients and clients
  • Positive team player willing to continue to learn
  • Can multi-task efficiently
