In this position you will be supporting our doctors and technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients while having the support and resources to push your career forward. We are located a short distance from Shrewsbury, PA and right off of I83, making the commute to the hospital an easy one. Requirements
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)
- Ability to commute/relocate: Glen Rock, PA 17327: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and vaccinations to animals.
- Providing nursing care including phlebotomy, radiology, and injection administration.
- Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals.
- Maintain medical records and filing systems.
- Assist in the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist in surgical patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery
- Educate clients on proper animal care and nutrition.
