Clevengers Corner is Hiring a Veterinary Assistant! Position Details Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant Status: Full-time Schedule: 30-40 hours per week Growing, high-quality, small animal practice near Warrenton seeks an excellent communicator who enjoys being a veterinary assistant. Exceptional clients, modern equipment, and a well-trained, harmonious team make practice pleasurable. We focus on being a great veterinary hospital, not on boarding, grooming, or retail. Our Veterinary Assistants lead appointments, monitor anesthesia for general surgeries and dental procedures, see outpatient assistant/technician appointments and dental/surgical discharge appointments, run a modern in-house laboratory, operate a class-IV therapeutic laser, handle phone questions and triage, perform nursing care of inpatients, and otherwise fully utilize the unique knowledge and skills of a Veterinary Assistant. Assistants perform various other duties based on experience and qualifications. Pay is higher than typical for our area and competitive with Northern Virginia practices (an easy traffic-free "reverse commute" for NoVA residents). Responsibilities

Lead appointments
