About The Position

Cresskill Animal Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Assistant! At Cresskill Animal Hospital, we are passionate about the care we provide to our patients and clients. We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to support our goal of creating healthier lives for our patients and their families. We are a team-oriented, friendly practice that works hard to provide compassionate care to our clients and community. We work closely with two phenomenal rescues, C.L.A.W.S and Petresq to help serve neighboring towns. As an experienced veterinary Assistant, you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. This is a full-time position for an experienced (at least 2 years) veterinary assistant. We take employee well-being seriously and offer competitive compensation and benefits.

Requirements

Vaccine knowledge
Animal restraint
Preventative care knowledge
Medication dispensing and administering
Obtaining a complete patient history and maintaining treatment records
Surgical experience (prep, monitoring, recovery, etc.)
At least 2 years of experience
