About The Position

Southpointe Veterinary Hospital is one of Veterinary United’s busiest, high-performing practices — and we’re looking for a highly skilled Veterinary Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, medicine-forward environment. This is not an entry-level role. We’re seeking an experienced assistant who is confident in technical skills such as blood draws, IV catheter placement, surgical support, and surgery prep, etc. If you love being hands-on and take pride in strong technical execution, we want to meet you. Southpointe is a dynamic, collaborative clinic with a strong medical team and a high caseload. We handle everything from scheduled wellness visits to urgent walk-ins — and we rely on skilled assistants who can jump in and elevate the level of care we provide. Our team is supportive, efficient, and deeply committed to patient outcomes. If you enjoy working alongside experienced doctors and technicians who value competence and teamwork, you’ll fit right in. Southpointe is part of Veterinary United, a family-owned network of 20+ Michigan clinics rooted in our core values: Inspire, Empower, Lead, Evolve, Believe. We invest in our people and reward strong performance.
