The Veterinary Eye Center is looking for a Veterinary Assistant and animal lover to join our growing team at our location in Manhattan. Veterinary experience is required. Requirements

1+ years’ experience as a Veterinary Assistant
Confidence with handling and restraint
The ability to work independently, responsibly, and ethically
A resourceful nature and creative problem-solving skills
An openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning
A commitment to the welfare of animals

Responsibilities

Assist Doctor and Technicians in providing a seamless client and patient appointment experience
Handling and restraint of patients for consultation exams and patient sample collection
Handling and submission of patient samples to in-house and external laboratory
Thorough cleaning, organization, and stocking of appointment exam rooms and appointment treatment area
