We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will support our veterinarians and technicians in delivering top-notch medical care, ensuring the well-being of our patients, and maintaining a clean and organized facility.

  • Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
  • Safely restrain animals for treatments and diagnostics.
  • Administer medications and vaccinations under supervision.
  • Collect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, feces).
  • Perform basic diagnostic tests, including radiographs and blood tests.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Educate clients on general animal care, nutrition, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of examination rooms, surgical areas, and kennels.
  • Manage inventory and order medical supplies as needed.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phones.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ months of experience in a veterinary setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine compassion for animals and their owners.
