About The Position
Bensonhurst Veterinary Care (BVC) is a small animal general practice located in Brooklyn, NY, open seven days a week. The hospital offers exceptional customer service and best-in-class care for pets, including wellness and sick exams, vaccinations, diagnostic testing, routine and advanced surgical procedures, dentistry, laser therapy, behavior counseling, and daytime emergency or urgent care. The position involves various responsibilities such as pet restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases, administration of medications, communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. The work environment may involve exposure to unpleasant odors, noises, bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.
