About The Position

Osterville Veterinary Clinic has been serving the Cape Cod community with wellness care since 2011. Our team is dedicated to the mission help pets live long healthy lives. To be true to this mission, we rely on teamwork. Each team member is equally important and we are thrilled to be expanding our medical staff. We are seeking a part time Veterinary Assistant that enjoys mentorship and training with a focus on encouraging growth in those around them! No weekends or evenings!!

Requirements

• Experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician in training.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients.
• Win the confidence of every pet parent by delivering an outstanding client experience.
• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Conduct laboratory work.
• Perform venipuncture.
• Administer pharmacy and medication.
• Maintain medical recordkeeping.
• Provide compassionate patient care.
