About The Position
Ahwatukee Commons Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our supportive and encouraging work family. This full-service general practice has been serving the pets of the Phoenix area for over 30 years and is known for its fun yet professional work environment. We are looking for a top-notch Vet Assistant who is passionate about animal care and is eager to contribute to the health and well-being of our patients. In this role, you will have a predictable, set schedule that allows you to balance your professional and personal life effectively. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant, and we value a friendly demeanor, dependability, and a willingness to learn new techniques. You will be part of a small team where your contributions are essential to ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care. As a Veterinary Assistant at Ahwatukee Commons, you will be responsible for delivering excellent patient nursing care, collecting patient histories, and providing superior client service through effective communication. The work environment is fast-paced, and we appreciate team members who can anticipate needs and take initiative. Our practice offers a variety of services, including Hospice Care, Laser Therapy, Pain Management, and Ultrasound, providing you with numerous opportunities to grow and learn new skills.
