About The Position

Purdue Veterinary Hospital is looking to add to our Small Animal Internal Medicine team where the veterinary assistant will be responsible for patient restraint and care, set-up and assisting during various endoscopic, laser, and surgical procedures (including specialty equipment and instruments), assisting with sample collection, client communication, and client education. The assistant is a vital member of the team, helping to ensure that all treatment areas are stocked with supplies and biosecurity methods are followed. The Internal Medicine team works Monday-Friday. What We're Looking For: Education and Experience Qualified candidates will need: High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of work experience in a veterinary hospital Skills needed: Able to listen to and follow both verbal and written directions. Must possess good oral and written communication skills with the ability to read and write in English. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
