Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. You’ve worked hard for your credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT) and we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: The successful Internal Medicine candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

Requirements

• Previous Emergency or Specialty experience.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on client care.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Familiar with common disease processes.
• Strong medical math skills, including calculating fluid rates and common CRIs.
• Able to obtain blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and ETC02.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in advanced imaging.
• Experience in advanced procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients.
• Win the confidence of every pet parent by delivering an outstanding client experience.
• Utilize skills in venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, physical examinations, patient assessment, laboratory work, pharmacy, and patient recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian.
• Integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care.
