Animal Medical and Surgical Center in Canton, GA is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Veterinarian with a passion for surgery to join our growing practice. Experience in orthopedic surgery would be a significant advantage but is not required. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian eager to expand their surgical skillset and work with a collaborative, supportive team. AMSC is a 4 doctor small animal practice offering care for canine, feline and exotic pets. The doctors and staff at our hospital have been providing veterinary care to Cherokee County for over 25 years. We offer a personalized approach and deliver gold standard veterinary care to our valued clients and their beloved pets, building a relationship that lasts a lifetime. We have a collaborative and supportive team of doctors and staff that work with mutual respect and are close knit enough to celebrate each other's birthdays and personal milestones. Our modern hospital boasts: * Digital Radiography * Dental Radiography * Dedicated surgical suite * In-House Labs * Ultrasound * Feline Friendly certified * Orthopedic and soft tissue surgery * Exotics care including wellness, nutrition, and surgery Our doctors will provide preventative health care, with the ability to build a relationship with clients and communicate effectively, maintain client/patient medical records and logs, dental care and surgical extractions, reading digital x-rays, and laboratory services. We are a paper light practice and use Avimark practice software for our record keeping which requires basic computer skills.
