About The Position

Cedarwood Veterinary Clinic in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team! Located within the heart of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Cedarwood Veterinary Clinic is a small, family-style, one doctor practice dedicated to serving our community. We are the oldest continuously active practice in the city with multi-generational clientele, and we're located on one of the city's busiest commercial thoroughfares. We have had the pleasure of being here for over 30 years and are looking to grow our well-established veterinarian hospital! We are also looking forward to a planned move in the next 2 years to an upgraded and more up-to-date facility that will be more conducive to higher growth in the practice.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Active veterinary license in the state of New Mexico or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in internal medicine, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery.
• Interest in diagnostic imaging and cytology.
• Previous experience in a veterinary practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care to patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Perform examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Conduct surgeries and dental procedures as needed.
• Mentor new graduates and assist in their professional development.
• Collaborate with a skilled tech team to ensure high-quality patient care.
