Aspetuck Animal Hospital is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Aspetuck Animal Hospital , a Rarebreed partner, is a busy 3+ doctor, AAHA Accredited, full-service veterinary hospital, and boarding facility located in the beautiful town of New Preston, CT. Our technologically advanced and progressive practice offers in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, acupuncture, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, and a full surgical suite performing routine procedures, soft tissue procedures, and orthopedics. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
- 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
- Internship training is also preferred but not required
- Ability to attain CT Veterinary License
Responsibilities
- Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically
- Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
- Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
- Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care
- Read and interpret radiograph and ultrasound studies (telemedicine available for difficult cases)
