About the Position We’re seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment. Our facility includes: Four exam rooms Butterfly ultrasound (for screening/non-diagnostic imaging) Digital dental X-ray Digital radiography IDEXX in-house laboratory Therapy laser (commonly used post-dental, post-op, and for orthopedic cases such as CCL injuries) Doppler blood pressure TonoVet for intraocular pressure measurement Two anesthesia machines (one equipped with full monitoring capabilities) We take pride in offering modern, efficient, and reliable equipment to support you in practicing at your highest potential. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
- Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
- Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
- Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
- Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
- Strong fondness and understanding of animals
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of animal behavior
- Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
Responsibilities
- Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care
