Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD)
- Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility for DEA/BNDD
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A genuine commitment to compassionate, high -quality patient care
Responsibilities
- Provide high -quality medical care to companion animals
- Diagnose illness and injury using modern diagnostic tools
- Collect and interpret diagnostic samples accurately
- Educate clients on preventative care and treatment recommendations
- Perform surgical procedures with confidence
- Prescribe medications responsibly and appropriately
- Offer compassionate guidance during end -of -life discussions
- Maintain thorough, organized medical records
- Practice medicine in alignment with veterinary ethics and hospital protocols
